Would be super helpful to have staff be able to directly request time off through the app.

In the roster area, specifically within the section where we edit or amend a therapist’s daily hours, it would be incredibly useful to have a dedicated notes field. At the moment, any notes about why someone may have started later, finished earlier, swapped a day, taken unpaid hours, or owes hours have to be tracked separately, which naturally leaves room for error or things being forgotten. Having a notes section directly alongside the editable daily hours would keep everything centralised, far more accurate, and much easier to reference. Additionally, it would be amazing if this notes area could also include simple digital markers for overtime, undertime, or unpaid hours, and ideally feed into the end-of-month hours calculation automatically. I think this would make roster management significantly more streamlined and reliable for all salon owners and managers.

We would benefit from having a way to input staff Certified Sick Days on their rosters. At the moment, we can only manual enter the text to keep track of how many days have been taken. With this set to increase again here in Ireland next year, we need an official way to keep track of these days per employee roster, and to easily spot them in the roster, if they could be a different colour.

There should be an option to access the time clock and edit for all employees. Also, I should be able to punch people in and out regardless of their schedule.

Allow us to add our own custom reasons that are permanent instead of just the 4 current reasons.

It’s really frustrating that there isn’t a report available for wages that automatically calculates total rostered hours minus unpaid lunch breaks. There should also be a section for public holidays that clearly indicates whether they are paid or unpaid, so the system can accurately calculate total hours for the day.

Please can you add a KEEP holiday button for when you change the staff rosters during the course of the year. This will prevent holidays being automatically deleted which is a concern and a genuine flaw in my view. I don't normally check staff holidays when I update the system, however, to my surprise they have been already been deleted by the Phorest system or over written which this should not be like this because I'm relying on the salon system to ensure that they are still there. This happens when you use the 'Repeat This Shift' button when adding or editing a staff roster.

In the New Roster calendar view- In the orange box labelled HOLIDAY It would be very beneficial if the number of holiday hours booked is added to this box as a quick reference. It will help us ensure the correct amount of hours have been booked. Otherwise i’m literally clicking around everywhere double and triple checking which is a nightmare.

When changing their schedule it doesnt keep vacation time off that has already been approved... it asks about appointments that are already on the books when i put them on vacation but if i go back and change their schedule to change forever it overrides previous requested time off.
