Our old systems waitlist allowed us to have the option for clients to be notified when an apt became available and they were able to book into our schedules without our front desk (that we don't have every day) contacting them. It also allowed them to add themselves from our booking page if they couldn't find an apt in the time they wanted. This allowed for openings to get filled immediately and less gaps. It also needs to take someone off the waitlist once the desired time/date has passed.

When a service provider offers multiple services but only wants so many of one in one day, i.e. only wants 4 massages a day but will take facials in other openings

We have been told since we started with phorest that this is coming and we still haven't seen it. For what we pay on phorest for reminders I still need to constantly follow up with clients to manually pay their booking fee. This is a big issue in our business at the moment with clients wanting a link to be sent for ease.

used to notify the person booking the appointment of specific client needs; extra time, long hair, always late, special rate, always gets blowdry with service,etc. - or a note that pops up when you hover over appointment like it already does for with services that client has booked that day. And/or a pop note when booking the appointment like it already does when a stylist is double booked, but instead, to remind us "more time needed for kathy" or "Always late" or whatever the special client need is.

wanted to share a feature suggestion based on my experience as a former Meevo user. One of the most efficient tools in Meevo was the ability to quickly locate a client by entering the last four digits of their phone number when booking a new appointment. This allowed us to instantly identify the client, know who we were speaking with, and continue the conversation smoothly without delays or confusion. It significantly improved the booking experience by speeding up the process, reducing errors in client identification, and creating a more seamless and professional interaction. I believe this would be a very valuable feature to implement in Phorest, especially for high-volume salons where efficiency at the front desk is critical. Enable the waitlist to show as a column for the days that clients are waitlisted, rather than having to click the icon every time you want to see the waitlist.

Aargh... we have had several errors made involving appointments MOVED as opposed to COPIED on the button available. Would appreciate if MOVE / COPY buttons were different colours etc... or there was simply a separate MOVE or COPY function instead of both toggled together.
