Is there a way to send clients a secure link that allows them to review and digitally accept our booking and cancellation policies without requiring them to enter a new credit card? We have hundreds of clients whose cards were added to Phorest before the current secure card-link feature was available. While their cards are securely stored on file, we do not have a digital record showing that they checked a box and agreed to our policies. The new feature that allows us to send a secure link to collect a card without charging it is wonderful. However, we need a similar option for existing clients so we can capture their policy acceptance without asking them to re-enter or replace the card already on file. This has become especially important because I recently lost a credit card dispute. I had proof that appointment reminders were sent and opened, and those reminders included a link to our policies. However, because I could not provide proof that the client had actively checked a box agreeing to the policies, the credit card company sided with the client, and I lost several hundred dollars. I would like the ability to send existing clients a policy-only acceptance link that records the date and time of their agreement within their client profile and card record. This would provide salons with the documentation needed to protect themselves during future disputes.
