Dear Phorest Team, It would be extremely helpful if the minimum gap size could be made significantly more flexible. At the moment, the maximum is 60 minutes, but we need the ability to set a freely selectable number of minutes. Why is this the simplest solution? We primarily sell balayage appointments, which are scheduled for 180 minutes, and our opening hours are 9 hours (10 AM – 7 PM). To optimize our schedule, we would like to offer appointments only every 3 hours. However, the current system allows clients to book, for example, at 11 AM, which creates gaps that often cannot be used efficiently. The 1-hour gap in the morning leads to an additional 2-hour gap later in the day. As a result, in this example, we can only fill 66% of our day with our core business, and in the worst case, the gaps remain unfilled. We also tested setting the minimum gap size to 0 minutes, but this led to another issue: the system no longer functions as intended. Suddenly, clients are able to book appointments at any time, even every 15 minutes. It seems that the system does not account for any gap size before appointments and offers available slots without any restriction. Please take action on this issue!

Clients who are banned are not able to book online but they're able to reschedule online. We ban clients sometimes to restrict people from booking online due to improper booking or frequent booking then cancelling, so that it forces them to call Clients without a card on file who reschedule online should also be required to add a card to file

I would love to see the option for certain services to require appointment approval. I see that you can turn off online booking and then have guests request services, I would like to be able to do this for specific services or categories.

I wish this feature were smarter. There are some treatments we would not like to split, like waxing, so customers do not have to get dressed or change room/ therapist. A client will request a therapist online for their wax, but it still splits the appointment, as it does not recognise the request for the whole treatment? I've also notice unnecessary splitting. Today, two different clients booked in for two treatments each and the online system split the appointment even though it could have all gone with one therapist (one therapist should be default surely?) so they had a soak off with one therapist then new nail with another, when if one therapist had the whole appointment, there's no messing around or changing. I see the benefits of splitting some appointments when it is busy, or clients want a lot done but wish there could be more booking rules to make it work smarter.

I would like to see the clients have to verify the correct phone nymber when booking online. We've had multiple wrong numbers entered.

There needs to be a maximum number of treatments per therapist option for treatments. This is only available in special offers for maximum treatments at the moment. We need to put a limit on the number of massages a therapist can carry out per day. The only way to stop more massage bookings coming in online if a therapist already has their capacity of what they can carry out is to block their column out, and this stops bookings.

The automatic colors (green ,yellow ,grey, and orange) should be able to be switched to the users personal color that they can choose. Some people are colorblind and can't see the colors or know what they mean/everything looks the same. They make everyone dizzy! We should have the option to choose what color we want it to be! Thank you!

this would help hybrid salons be able to send new client online bookings to the employees, but not take away to possibility for the others to not be able to book a new request.
