My previous booking system used an incredible feature: clients, who were unable to find an appointment that suited them would add themselves to a waitlist, and as soon as a client would cancel this particular appointment type online, everyone on the waitlist for this appointment time would receive an automatic text message notification, which allowed them to snatch the appointment (first come, first serve ). it was such a time saver for me because as of right now, I’m the one maintaining a physical waitlist for clients because Phorest doesn’t offer this option.

There needs to be an online option! There’s no point having a waitlist if they can’t get on it themselves.
Some salons dont have someone sitting up front to take calls all day. Let’s automate this! Pleaseeee

Für die online Buchungen muss unbedingt eine Warteliste her, auf die der Kunde sich selbst setzen kann. In anderen Systemen wird der Kunde sogar direkt per Mail benachrichtig, wenn ein Termin frei wird und kann diesen dann direkt selber buchen.

Booker has an automatic waitlist if there’s something available it messages the client right away and ask them if they want to take this appointment this would be so helpful.

I would love to have this feature for my clients to join the waitlist through the booking system. I used to have it on an old booking system that I used previously and the clients loved it because it meant they could still book a slot and get notified when that slot became available

Agree - I’ve created a “therapist” called waitlist for years but it would be smoother if it was set up properly by Phorest

Waitlist should have a notification when someone adds themselves and clients should be able to add themselves to it. A notification should also come up when appt becomes available

It would be amazing if the waitlist feature was available for selected treatments. As we require it for some but not others and can't afford to turn our whole online booking off. Even if it wasn't a specific waitlist but people could request to book a treatment in and we have to review and confirm it before its booked in.
