We’re finding a limitation in the booking process that’s causing some issues for our team. We often have important client notes that need to be checked before an appointment is booked (e.g. treatment suitability or therapist allocation). Currently, alerts only appear at check-in or check-out, which is too late. As a workaround, we’re marking some clients as “banned” just to trigger a warning before booking. This isn’t what the feature is intended for and creates confusion and extra admin. Ideally, there would be the ability to trigger a client note alert at the point of booking, with a prompt that requires the note to be reviewed or acknowledged before proceeding, and a way to flag this without needing to use the “banned” status. This would make the process much more logical and help avoid errors. Would be great to hear if others have the same issue or any better workarounds.
