Desktop Appointment Diary

I can’t believe that there is no landing page Its a safe guard for the business There should be a large landing page or at least a larger announcement section where you can put all of your salon introductions and policies so that the clients are very aware before they book what they need to do. There’s nothing there that gives them any idea about the Salon or whether they can just make an appointment and change it on the day it’s lame. We’ve had this in the past and it’s ensured that clients don’t just book appointments without knowing what’s expected from them or what they can expect from the salon.

We would like to be able to move an existing appointment or copy it to the waitlist directly. As of right now, we have to create a new appointment in the waitlist.

I’d love to suggest an improvement to the online booking system that would make managing bookings much easier from the salon’s side. At the moment, when clients book online, I mainly find out about the booking through individual emails. This means there can be a lot of going back and forth through emails to check who has booked, what they have booked, and whether the appointment has been booked correctly. It would be fantastic to have a dedicated Online Bookings page or inbox within the system where all new online bookings appear in one place. Ideally, I would love the option to personally review and confirm each online booking. Once I have checked that the services, timing and appointment are correct, I could click Confirm, and the client would then automatically receive their confirmation text and/or email. This would allow me to come in each morning, open one page, see all the online bookings that have come through, check them and confirm them without having to search through multiple emails. Something like: New Online Bookings → Review Booking → Confirm → Client Automatically Receives Confirmation It would make online booking management much clearer and more efficient, particularly for busy salons where clients may occasionally select the wrong service or an appointment needs to be checked before it is confirmed. I think this would be a really valuable feature for salon owners and managers.

Rather than the minimum duration being 1 minute, it should be zero

It would be great if when we hover over the appt on the calendar that you also see when the guests next appt is also, not just what services are scheduled for that day.

We want to close our online booking for 2027 up until we have our regular guests prebooked. We would like to be able to pick a date to have it open until, Dec 31, 2026 and then open it up when we are ready. Right now with the weeks setting we would have to change it each week.

A feature from our previous booking system that we used often was a cancelled box. if clicked it shows all spaces that had appointments that were previously booked and then cancelled. It allows one to follow up and contact the guest if they did not rebook. To see who was there if the wrong appointment was accidentally cancelled... many additional reasons. With Phorest it requires a manager's accessibility and 5 steps to do so. I must say I appreciate all of the systems that are in place far superior to any other system we have used. Thank you

I love that the waitlist can be seen on the app and desktop. Thank you. BUT how can I turn off the automatic filter for seeing today only when looking on the desktop. I have to go in and reset the filter to see the full list on the waitlist. I know this is small but it's annoying you can't just look at the waitlist fully.

Can we get alerts when someone specifically requests us on the waitlist...just like we get alerts when someone books with us?
