Desktop Appointment Diary

I have condensed what we are all asking for into one post. Multiple tabs feature - it is not convenient for reception to have to close down a reports screen to change back to diary. SMS - let us click to see the exact message that was sent to a client. SMS - integrate a SMS feature for desktop to avoid showing our real mobile numbers when sending SMS. Refunds - create a simpler refund option to avoid accidental refunds being made. Rescheduled appointments - send a new confirmation when an appointment is changed in any way.

Of a staff Memeber calls in sick we have to manually scatter and call all clients. If there was an option to put that staff on sick and auto emails would be sent notifying Clients with an option to rebook

If a client has 3 different appointments booked in and wants to reschedule part of there appointment you cant just move one thing to another day , everything has to move ,this didn't happen with the old system .

If we move a booking to another day (copy/paste function) it clears the old trace of the booking (info who made the bookings, when etc) and only shows information after the move.

Leave a deleted or postponed appointment in very light gray (shadow)... but it must still be overwritable for another appointment.

It would be very helpful if a contact telephone number was displayed next to the clients name on the waiting list.

Current behavior: When a client with a multi-session course is booked for a service, the system currently displays the remaining number of sessions instead of the one being used. For example, if a client has a 3-session facial course and has already used 1 session, the booking shows “2 of 3 sessions”. This can cause confusion, as it appears to suggest the client is currently using their second session rather than showing the session number being used. Requested Change: Update the display so that the booking clearly indicates which session is being used out of the total. Using the same example, if the client has booked 1 session out of 3 facials, the appointment should show “1 of 3 sessions”. This change would make the information clearer for both staff and clients, reduce confusion when tracking course usage, and align the session numbering with how bookings are actually consumed rather than how many remain.

Since the change to the new web based system, the process of making & moving appointments, taking payments, just doing anything, now takes far longer than it ever used too. And the busier it gets the worse it gets. We have raised this issue numerous times but it only seems to be getting worse.
