Receptionist KPI tracking
I’d love to suggest a feature enhancement that would make a huge impact for salon owners and managers who want to measure and reward front desk performance more effectively. Currently, most KPI reporting in Phorest is focused on service providers. However, receptionists play a critical role in the client cycle. They’re often the ones who finalize retail sales, secure rebookings, and suggest service upgrades or add-ons. Yet, there’s no way to track or measure those contributions at the front desk level. It would be extremely valuable if Phorest could track performance metrics for receptionists based on who is logged in during the transaction. Specifically: • Retail Sales Performance: Track retail items sold when a particular receptionist is logged in. • Rebooking Performance: Measure how many guests were successfully rebooked by receptionist login. • Service Upselling/Cross-Selling: Capture when receptionists add or promote additional services — especially at guest check-in, when they can influence the guest’s service choices before the appointment begins. All of these could remain credited under the original service provider for accuracy in stylist reporting, but having visibility into these actions by receptionist login would allow owners to: • Identify top-performing front desk team members. • Pinpoint training opportunities for those who may need support. • Create meaningful incentive or bonus programs based on measurable KPIs. This enhancement would close a major reporting gap, allowing salons to better evaluate and celebrate the front desk’s contribution to the guest experience and overall revenue. Thank you for considering this — I truly believe it would be a game-changer for salon operations and team development!
