I’ve raised this before, but I wanted to submit it again as a suggestion regarding the current limit of 20 email campaigns per calendar month. I completely understand the need to have limits in place, particularly to prevent businesses from sending excessive numbers of emails to their entire client database. However, I don’t think counting the number of campaigns, regardless of how many recipients they are sent to, is the fairest or most practical way to apply the limit. For example, I currently have a small group of just 42 clients, from a database of around 4,000, who have specifically signed up to receive a short educational email series from us. As part of this, I’ve been sending them a few emails each week. Because every email to those 42 people is counted as a full campaign, I’ve now reached my 20-campaign allowance and have been blocked from sending the remaining emails in the series this month. It’s particularly frustrating because these clients have actively asked to receive this content, and the total number of emails being sent is relatively small. Could the campaign allowance perhaps be reviewed so that it takes into account the number of emails/recipients being sent to, rather than simply the number of individual campaigns created? Alternatively, perhaps campaigns sent to smaller segmented groups could be treated differently from campaigns being sent to an entire database. I completely appreciate why sending 20+ campaigns to all 4,000 clients in a month might need restricting, but sending a targeted campaign to 42 opted-in clients feels very different. I think a little more flexibility around segmented campaigns would make the email system much more useful for businesses like ours that use email for education and targeted client communication, rather than simply sending mass marketing emails. I’d really appreciate it if this could be considered as future product feedback — and if there is any way my account could be temporarily enabled to allow me to finish the current series for these 42 clients, that would also be hugely appreciated.
