Waitlist notification on mobile app to booked stylist even before something opens up. A booked stylist knows their schedule better than front desk. If they know when client is waiting then they can see where to fit a client in. This is a major flaw and $ loss for the business with the app. We need better communication between front desk and stylists.

We strongly suggest adding a Dictation / Voice-to-Text function to the Phorest Go App, specifically within the Client Notes section. Reasoning: Typing detailed service notes manually is time-consuming. Dictation would allow staff to capture complex color formulas and service specifics faster and more accurately, improving efficiency and the quality of client records. This feature would be a major benefit for all users.

When a client turns in a gift card after it is used we need to be able to sell it again to a new client This will reduce waste and money we spend on gift cards . My old software had this feature and I didn’t have to purchase more gift cards at the end of each major holiday . We also were able to track each time that gift card was sold and to whom it was sold , it could not be sold again until it reached a zero balance .

Be able to request annual leave and accept or decline and have a tally of days for the year

This is extremely necessary!! Would take a lot of stress off the staff, having to constantly check if they’ve been patch tested for the specific service, then having to ring clients and cancel their appointment due to no patch test being done for said service.

Would be so helpful if the trail feature was available on Phorest Go! When our staff are viewing their columns it's usually when they are at home not on the salon computer, and when they see a booking error they need to be able to see who booked the appointment so they can ask about it! And some of our staff are part time so often it's days before they next in salon to be able to check the salon computer, so would be extremely helpful if this feature was available on mobile!

To be able to download the full desktop version onto iPad instead of laptop/pc as we have I pads

When a Stock Order arrives - Scan all of the Items into a basket and add to stock by pressing GOODS IN button Scan any salon use items (Colour, Professional Stock etc) into a basket and delete from stock count by pressing GOODS OUT button. (Refer to Salon IQ - who have a much better stock control system...!!)

A few years back we previewed a new feature called “Magic Moments” where we could set filters and automatically celebrate client milestones. I thought thid feature was so wonderful for retention and I’d love to see it come to life. Automatic texts/emails to celebrate Birthdays, Spends, Anniversaries, VIP’s, visit thresholds, etc. would be amazing

It would be very helpful if we had greater insights into our front desk/admin performance. We’d like to goal them as well so we can hold them accountable. Like when they are logged in, what is the overall retail upsell and RTS? When they are on duty what is the overall rebook rate? When they are on duty what is the avg ticket? The receptionist job is so important and can make or break a salon. We need to have better visibility into how they perform and how their presence effects the salon as a whole. Sometimes the stylists numbers are greatly influenced by what receptionists are on for the day. We have 3 locations and we rotate between 8 different receptionists so we desperately need this, more so than a smaller salon that has a static reception person.
