Could we please have a feature added where employees can request time off in Phorest? The employee could request the time and that request would temporarily block their schedule , it would get approved, and then automatically input into their schedule once approved.

So long as certain staff are notified when requests are made (to approve the requests)

Could also be cool if similar staff members see when co workers request off, so that they can pick up extra shifts if they would like

I'd love this, and also if there were a way for support staff to have a schedule (although not an appointment schedule) that they can also request time off & have it approved.

Phorest Product This would be extremely helpful as long as it provides a report, a notification, and a paper trail to the HR manager or whoever is gathering/responding to the info. We need much better tracking of PTO time in general, especially since we are required by law in our state to pay out a certain amount each year. Right now, we have no visibility to hours for commissioned employees who don't clock in/out, or good reports to capture their expected hours by scheduled time.
