Online Booking / App

When prices are entered to be from amount X, we usually add the from everywhere but not in the email confirmation. Salons noticed this and complained about this as it would make it harder for them to negotiate with their clients.

When a salon customer is booking online and chooses "any staff", the system will randomly offer them a salon staff member, however some salons want more control over this. For example, always favour staff in a particular order, always favour the least busy staff member, exclude certain staff, etc. If this is being worked on more research about different options could be done.

Problem: Salons need to create services for every variable of that service, for example: Cut Short Cut Medium Cut Long Cut Extra Long This would be the same for Perming, Highlights, Colour services etc. For beauty salons the variable would be time, rather than hair length, eg Dermalogica Pro Peel 45 mins Dermalogica Pro Peel 60 mins Sports Massage 30 mins Sports Massage 60 mins Sports Massage 90 mins This would be a nice way to condense the service lists for online bookings as they can get ridiculously long for hair and beauty salons.

At the moment, we send end-clients a Confirmation email when they book online (image attached). We also have the Confirmation Email/SMS feature in Phorest. If that feature is enabled then clients who book online receive 2 confirmation emails, which is excessive. We should take some of the features from the OB Confirmation email, like staff profile picture, the "left to pay at appointment" amount, and the 'My Booking History' link, and allow them to be added to the Confirmation Email feature within Phorest. Then remove the OB Confirmation entirely.

I have a customer who uses the phorest app and wishes something really important, I wasn't aware of: "My clients like to book the appointments through the app, but unfortunately you can click off and then there is no prompt again like "You are about to cancel the appointment. Are you sure?" That's not very customer-friendly."

It would be nice to be able to see except of the description of the services in the OB, also some pics.

Rebooking does not work properly atm e.g. all services that a consumer paid for, will show to be rebookable. If the salon made certain service not online bookable, the whole appointment is not bookable. We don't even allow rebooking parts of it. Phorest also tries to rebook with the exact same staff. If one of the staff members left the salon - no way to rebook. We need more flexibility to drive rebookings for consumers and salons.

For example the employee X can be booked only by new clients or the employee Y can be booked after 3 visits.

We only show the staff firstnames and do not care about whether there are duplicate names in the system, making it hard for the consumer to find the right staff - forcing salons to change the names, messing up reports.

Currently, we only allow setting a staff member qualified for a service - both online and in-salon. Salons want the ability to differentiate e.g. let the staff offer that service in-salon but not online.
