They also put a mailing list widget on their website and manage that mailing list manually outside of Phorest Impact on the customer - why is this painful? It requires learning another tool and manage a new client database outside of Phorest, which is time consuming. Impact on the customer - how often do they have to do this? Except from the new editor, all other automated templates incl the new feature to presend forms, don´t include the salutation option, which German clients expect as a basic. It has been stopping clients from using some of the notifications over the last few years, as many clients see it as "rude" to call them by their first names. Instead of using the first name, they need to write Mr./Mrs lastname (different again in Switzerland). The workaround is replacing the firstname with "dear clients", which many clients think is too impersonal.
