Desktop Appointment Diary

It would be awesome to have an actual confirmation list to go through and check off each client in the list as either confirmed, left message, no answer, wrong number… etc. Then during shift change the next team member could pick up where the last one left off. It should also initial each confirmation with who did it incase there are any questions. This should also be savable after each update to the list. If this could be customizable for each salon would be nice too. Someone else may want different features to check off during confirmations. Having to go through each and every appointment to confirm on the actual appointment books can be very confusing and easy to miss someone.

Be great to be able to send a text to an individual client regarding appointments , product availability, staff sick , change of booking etc … better connectivity !!

The old interface would show appointment notes on the booking and you didn't have to open their profile to check them. It would be nice if there was the option to show or hide that. Previous appointments with notes text gets cut off so it would be better if the text could wrap inside the individual service as before for a quick look.

With the NEW version of Phorest, the room view is all greyed out. It would be beneficial to show the open space as white; to mimic the appointment book availability per stylist.

The old sytem would highlight the time cross the whole screen please bring back the higlight, it helps to line up following appointments with different team members

Would love if when creating a booking for a “new guest” that the system could tell us if they have an existing file, archived or even not. Something to flag similar information? We have guests that are coming back after a few years and while I recognize the names as a long time employee, many others don’t. It would help make sure any notes on file that could be pertinent to past purchases or previous issues with the guest. Could be guest preferences, previous history in services, and even notes if we do not want to be rebooking that client, even if just with a specific stylist. Also makes it less awkward when the stylist consulting asks how the guest heard about us and they explain they used to come to the salon.

Can Phorest check the archived clients database when adding new clients to prevent duplicate clients from being setup. Currently it is only checking the active database.

in the new appointment screen. I do wish we could see the service providers entire name instead of just 3 or 4 letters. A lot of our desighers have similar names so it helps to see the full first nad last name.
