Desktop Purchase Screen

It would be helpful to have a gift card balance indicator on the pay screen similar to the account/course/treatcard buttons that are currently displayed. It would aid in a better clients experience.

when your on one screen you can't switch onto another screen for example if you are cashing a client out but they want to make their next apt before cashing out you have to exit purchase screen to go on appointment screen. very old technology

Not having to input client details to price check retail in the purchase screen would be great. and in general being able to add things to the "cart" in the purchase screen then adding client details at any point would be nice.

A guest may be booked in for a particular service, but when they arrive at the salon they may have a different service performed. Currently, we have to change the appointment in the appointment book screen to reflect the changes (upgrades/changes/downgrades) before we can pay the appointment. Could we please have the ability to make the changes in the pay screen, and in turn this then update the appointment book to reflect what has actually been charged for. If the stylists forget to change the appointment before paying we get left with appointments that are checked in but never appearing as paid.

I love the updated sales/purchase screen but in the old checkout system, we could choose from the client's previous purchases to add product to purchases. Can this feature please be added back in?

The new Purchase screen is complete a disaster, instead to upgrade you did opposite. 1. when you try to put more than one product the system does not allow to make right away, you have to come back and press Product and repeat the process every time for every product (one by one). By the previous screen you need just to scan and that's it. Then when you complete the payment you have to choice to send or not the receipt. Before it was automatically. I'm agree with choice between print or not the receipt.

In my previous EHR system, we could create treatment estimates for patients, include multiple recommendations, and later convert those estimates into invoices. It would be helpful to store estimates for treatments that haven’t been invoiced yet, so we can track outstanding recommendations and target those patients and treatments directly.

When emailing a client a quote you should be able to go into their client card to review.

When customers are tipping it should only be on service or services never on retail.

We currently have the ability to change the price of an appointment at the time of booking. It would be great if we could have the option to add a discount/promotion/special offer at the time of booking also, both in the Phorest desktop app and also for clients during the online booking process. Often we send marketing to guests with a special offer. On occasion a stylist will forget to give the discount to the guest when they are taking payment. This could be avoided if we had the ability to select a special offer/discount at point of booking the appointment.
