Changing appointments in pay screen to reflect on the appointment calendar

A guest may be booked in for a particular service, but when they arrive at the salon they may have a different service performed. Currently, we have to change the appointment in the appointment book screen to reflect the changes (upgrades/changes/downgrades) before we can pay the appointment. Could we please have the ability to make the changes in the pay screen, and in turn this then update the appointment book to reflect what has actually been charged for. If the stylists forget to change the appointment before paying we get left with appointments that are checked in but never appearing as paid.

If you click on the service name to edit it and change it this way on the purchase screen then it should automatically update on the appointment screen once the service is paid for.
Please do let me know if this is not happening and we will look into it.

Phorest Product Whilst this may be the case, additional services added in the purchase screen don't write back to the appointment book, which is quite frustrating as it throws staff utilisation numbers out

Carl .: Thank you for the reply. In this case would you expect all services added to appear on the appointment screen? Including if it would then cause double bookings with the staff members next appointment(s)?

Phorest Product - yes, we can always resize/move the appointment that is written back to the appointment book if necessary.

Phorest Product I wouldn't want the add-ons to be added unless I actually add it to the schedule. Sometimes our add-ons are adding CBD oil to a massage or adding toner but we don't necessarily need more time. In my situation we would have a client scheduled for color with finish time and they decide to get a haircut. I want to be able to change it at checkout to be a haircut and have it close the finish time on the schedule.

If anything, if the price can be saved when you exit out... sometimes we get talking with a client and it logs out and goes all white and you gotta go back in but none of the price updates saved.

I absolutely agree, nothing more frustrating then having closed tickets still appearing as opened on the booking screen. I would love it if Phorest could make this change.

Yes this would be great, We have moved over from Shortcuts and with that system you have a drop down that informs you of who is actually in point of sale screen, any amendments just sit in there until you are ready to check them out! Phorest needs this feature! you should be able to amend something in point of sale without it disappearing when you leave!
