Keep every stylist’s day running to their rhythm
Does one of your stylists work best in 45-minute blocks? Does another need every booking to start on the hour so their day doesn’t fill up with awkward 15-minute gaps?
A packed column with odd gaps is lost time, and lost revenue. Until now, keeping each person’s pattern meant the front desk had to remember it and do the sums for every booking. Now your calendar remembers it for you.
What’s new:
See each person’s rhythm at a glance:
Columns for team members with a set booking pattern now show soft alternating bands, starting from the beginning of their shift. Their pattern also shows under their name (e.g. “Custom cadence: 45 min”), so anyone at the desk knows how that person works. The right time, as you hover: Hover over a slot in their column and you’ll see the nearest time that fits their pattern before you book.
A gentle nudge, or a firm rule, your choice:
Set a pattern as a guide and the calendar suggests the closest time that fits whenever a booking is slightly off. Tap Book at to take it, or Keep if the client really needs that time. Set it as strict and off-pattern start times aren’t allowed. You’ll see the closest available slot instead, and times that are already booked are skipped.Works however you book: New bookings, drag-and-drop, and changing a service time when editing an appointment all follow the same pattern.
Online bookings always stay on pattern:
Clients booking online are only offered times that fit the pattern, whether it’s set as a guide or strict. Overnight bookings won’t break up tomorrow’s column, and the desk can still make exceptions for in-salon bookings when it makes sense. How to use it:
Go to Manager > Staff, select a team member and open Settings in their profile. Set their pattern length and choose whether it’s a guide or strict. Their column picks it up on your Day View straight away.A small change that keeps your team’s days tight and predictable, and saves the desk from doing calendar maths at 9am.
