We recently updated three items for the appointment planner based on feedback you have submitted in recent months.
1. Any Staff
Instead of selecting a specific staff member you can now click "Skip" to have the appointment planner look for availability with any staff member(s) qualified to perform the selected services.

2. Updated Slot Availability
We received multiple reports in recent months that the appointment planner would occassionally suggest appointment slots that would result in the appointment being performed when the staff member is no longer working.
We found the issue that was causing this to occur and now the appointment planner will no longer allow appointments that fall outside of a staff members scheduled hours.

3. Removed Appointment History Step
We noticed based on click data that 87% of the time you were not using the appointment history for the client. The data and feedback indicated that this step may be adding more confusion instead of making the process easier.
Before making this change permanent we will be testing 50% of salons without the appointment history and 50% with the appointment history step in order to understand if the change is beneficial. We will test this for a period of one month before making a decision.
