Setting a massage limit per day

We really need this feature to protect the therapists in our day spa. All of the other spa and wellness software providers which we have spoken to offer this as a standard feature. Really hoping Phorest can implement this simple function as we will have to change software if not. Thank you.

Create limits to the amount of specific services a staff member can perform per day

e.g. some therapists can only manage one or two massages per day, some people my only want to do one colour per day etc, we should be able to set these limits within the system, especially for massage as it is strenuous. we have a girl who can only manage one per day whilst pregnant, another who has fibromyalgia and said she could manage two If its one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so a time limit of said 4 hours before another massage Ould be booked in would be ideal for her, and another therapist joining us leaving a spa where she is back to back with massages all day, and its what's making her leave, because they don't have limits. our teams need limits imposing for their own health and wellbeing, and Phorest needs to help us enable these limits. turning off online booking is the only way at present, but still not ideal as when staff manually book if they miss that there's already a massage etc then they add multiple without realising they've over booked that person.

this could be something that might work, even if its just evening out a week. IE: you have one day with 6 colors and none for the rest of the week. Possibility to override for special circumstances, but this would help with the feeling of burn out some days.

If you add blocks to the schedule (Greyed out breaks) and title it, smart booking or Max, then no one can book in that space online

Amanda Reichelt thank you - it’s very admin heavy doing it that way. Plus we want guests to be able to book our non-massage services online such as facials and reflexology when the massage maxes are reached, so adding blocks is counter productive. It’s just a matter of replicating the exact same backend function which applies to SPECIAL OFFERS, to all other services.
