I would like to suggest adding permission-based access to the Close Out screen.
When a staff member is assigned to perform the Close Out at the end of the day because the manager, owner, or receptionist is unavailable, they should only see the basic daily sales totals needed to complete the Close Out process.
They should not have access to detailed transaction information, including:
Individual client transactions
Payment details
Discounts
Refunds
Tips
Other confidential financial information
This information is private and should only be accessible to managers or business owners with the appropriate permissions.
Adding a permission setting that allows owners to choose between Basic Close Out and Full Financial Close Out would improve data security, protect confidential business information, and allow trusted staff members to complete end-of-day procedures without exposing sensitive financial records.
