Report dates
complete

Before the update when running reports the selected dates stayed when going back to rerun them or a new report. Now the date has to be entered each time. Can we go back to that option?

Hi everyone,
Happy to say, Additional Reports is back to the old behaviour of remembering dates! No more resetting your filters repeatedly.
Thanks for sharing feedback as always.
Many thanks,

The date to and from should not keep changing to todays date when using reports

This has changed from the old one. It is annoying when looking at reports (say from Monday to Friday individually) when the dates default to todays date - especially when I have to print commission for more than one person on the same date. You can't select two people at one time (say all self employed) so I have to go in again for the date that I am printing for another person - but annoyingly the date changes every single time and I have to go in and change it back.

Hi Helen,
I would say the date is the most important staying even if looking at a different report. Also even if I go back to the calendar and then back to reports.... incase I take a call for a booking etc. So maybe it holds that date until changed? Or holds the date until idle in reports for over a certain period of time??? As long as it holds that date between similar dated reports that I may switch between employees, or clients, or services.... or any other change that would be in a filter BUT HOLD THE DATES BEING SEARCHED.
Now for the other filters... would probably make sense to hold it all and allow the change between employees, service category, inventory item, month, etc.
THANK YOU!
XO Rowena

Printing reports

When generating a report under a staff category it would be helpful if you are wanting to print multiple performance reports for the same date range that the date would remain the same for each report while you were trying to access them. For example I would like to print performance tracker, utilization, and a stylus performance overview. After you close one report you have to go back and enter the new dates again it defaults back to today's date. If I want to print something from the first week of February, every time you print a report it goes back to today's date. Very time-consuming and lots of clicks.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the feedback. Making the dates remembered is in progress for the Additional Reports
Another improvement candidate we have to propose for Additional Reports - What thoughts do you have on any chosen filters being remembered when switching reports, if same filter is available?
Example:
Run Sales transaction for April
Staff filter is applied to Lucy
Switch to Service Category Performance
Both Date & Staff preferences are remembered
Let us know your thought in the comments!
Many Thanks,
Helen

YES PLEASSSSSE!!!
I was just going to post this and found yours. This is sooooo frustrating and I have accidentally run a report for 1 day because of this.

Yep. Even the dashboard....set it for anything but the default of "Last 7 Days" and every time you go back to it - you have to change the time range again.

So time consuming
