Not losing Chargebacks

Even when people book online and consent to the terms and cancellation policy we never win a chargeback from the credit card company. The evidence isn’t good enough. Phorest needs a better system so we can actually have successful cancellation policies without clients calling the credit card companies and screwing us over when they CONSENT to the policies

Is this an American thing? I've never noticed deposits being cancelled by the card companies, where do you see this?

Alex Heavens it’s not deposits that they dispute. We don’t take deposits on all of our appointments, but we do have a 100% fee if someone no shows their appointment…. And they go and dispute it even when our policies are clear

Sam how do you see theyve won this charge back? On your Phorest report or?
We charge a deposit for every booking, so dont often charge more if its missed, we'd just keep the deposit

This and accept a credit card only not debit for deposit. So many clients using revolut and not putting money on their card so we can’t charge them
