Change the tip option to value instead of percentages

Instead of showing the client a percentage tip option, can this be changed to an amount? For example, €5, €10, €15, other. Working out a percentage when the client is at the point of sale can be confusing and sometimes misleading to people who can't do percentages. At least with an actual value it's really transparent.

You can now choose to show 3 fixed tip amounts on the terminal instead of percentages for payments. This would apply for payments below a threshold that you can also set.
For example, you can set it that for all payments below €100, the terminal will show €10/€15/€20/custom as the options.
Head into Manager > PhorestPay > Settings > Tip Settings to try it out

Hi, if you use the above option you/the client won't have to calculate the amount - it will be calculated by the terminal and shown to the client before they select an option.
So for example if the service was €78 and your tip %s were set as in your screenshot, they would be shown these options on the terminal straight away:
10% (€7.80)
15% (€11.70)
20% (€15.60)
Custom
No tip
If they select custom they can choose whatever amount they want.

Phorest Product: Apologies, I knew that the amount came up too with the percentage.
However I still think that the option to put in our own amounts without a percentage would work better, or it would for definite with our guests.
15% of our average docket is very high, and as a consumer I feel that this is what I would feel obliged to give if I was presented with percentage options. I know there's a custom option there too, but again using myself as an example, I wouldn't use this when the sales assistant is standing there. Plus we've seen this behaviour from our guests that confirms our thought process.
Is it a complicated update to change this to all monetary options?

An option we're looking at is to allow each salon to choose when 'smart tipping' will kick in, and what amounts to show the customer. Right now smart tipping kicks in for transactions below €10, so below that amount the customer gets presented with €1,€2,3 instead of %s.
So if we changed that to let you to set it to suit your business, if you wanted (for example) transactions over €100 to show percentages, and transactions below €100 to show €10/15/20 as the options, you could set that up. The threshold where amounts kick in instead of % would be set by you, and the amounts that show up would be set by you. Would that solution work for you?
