Can there be an option for staff NOT to receive notifications. I don't want some of my staff to receive these alerts as they move the appointments when they get notifications. I understand that this can be beneficial to some, but not to all. Can it be implemented under the access tab, instead of the staff opting in themselves on their phone.

Not sure why you stated self employed. I own my spa and everyone is my employee.

Marva Cooksey it wasn’t aimed at you specifically, and I don’t mind them getting notifications that their client has arrived. But it’s when they get a notification when they’re at home to say someone has made a booking, they then go in and change it or move it. Same with the reviews. If you did have self employed stylists that would be fine, but as for running a business with employees we need to be the ones in control?

I like to manage the reviews myself, some staff members don’t take bad reviews well. I don’t think they should get a notification especially if it’s outside of working hours.

I prefer the notifications. My staff needs to come to the front desk and meet and greet their client

Marva Cooksey I’m fine with them getting notifications about clients arriving. It’s when clients cancel their appointments and they get a notification, or when they receive a review. It’s fine for “self employed” salons, but I employ all my staff, so need control of these things, not them.

yes, absolutely. We have had several talks with Phorest about this very thing. We actually lost a few staff. members over this very thing already.
