get rid of the one minute "no add on". it really impacts our salon!

This zero minute service can be used to customize a lot in the schedule for stylists who work with associates/ assistants. 0min services that recognizes processing time but does not block any time in a stylists schedule at the end of a processing time such as a single process washing time/ treatment time. This helps with online booking and allows the client to book accordingly. We are forced to use a 1 min service for a wash because if we don’t then the service does not respect the processing time.

Example: If you do not book a finish/ shampoo/ etc. then an appointment that needs processing time can be booked at the end of the day. Currently we have certain services that are finished that are 1 minute but it really blocked off 15 minutes in the schedule, as no one can book a 1:16pm appointment because at 1:15 there is a wash/ finish. The 1 min service is awkward and blocks out too much time when the guests book on the 15min/ 30min etc. Currently we have to go in and manually change it or a lot of services do not show up for online booking for busy staff who work with associates.

We would also have the ability to have guests book online services without having to call up a guest and correct the service time and sometimes reschedule all together.

This would also work out great for our end of shift, currently Phorest only has a feature that states “do not book services within (x) time of closing” and that should be done for the shift not just closing. With a zero minute service that could be tagged onto other services such as a curly cut (we cut than style and place under dryer therefore it cannot be booked at the end of the day/ end of shift)

We need to be able to add upsold treatments that enhance an experience without taking additional time. Currently, we can only do this by adding 1 minute services. This messes up the schedule flow BIG TIME.

add on services currently add minimum of 1 min. These services do not require additional time and occur during the booked appointment
