Businesses should have a choice in settings to allow clients to reschedule once, twice, three times or to keep rescheduling as long as they are outside the cancellation period. At the moment the system is allowing clients to keep rescheduling as many times as they want and their deposit just jerks carrying forward. This is really annoying as they are blocking the calendar

Yes we totally agree it is so frustrating that they can continue to reschedule. We should have the ability to set how many reschedules are allowed

Yes, please give us the option to turn off the ability for clients to reschedule and cancel themselves! With my old booking system, clients had to contact the salon to make any changes. This feature would be so beneficial for businesses.

Could phorest come up with something where it limits how many times an appt can be resceudled especially by the customer themselves. We are finding that some customers are playing games with their appts and are repeatedly rescheduling their appts and it’s creating issues as sometimes the spots can be filled and other times not and I’ve even got staff that refuse to now book in certain clients who are known to do this as it messes up schedules repeatedly. Could there be say a cap that each salon could set that limits how many times an appt can be resceudled or a pop up warning or something that alerts that max rescheduling limit has been reached, and/or once the cap is reached, they either have to cancel or attend or possibly a fee or something added for any future rescheduling.

We have clients who consistently reschedule appointments online and this can become really frustrating as they move just before each cancelation period. I think it would be great if we could have a system where clients can only reschedule their appointment online up to two times before losing their deposit.
this stops repeat offenders.

I agree with this and we are finding clients abusing the system, especially with the phorest app they have their appointments at their fingertips

We are finding quite a few serial resceduelers and I feel that some clients are starting to abuse the freedom to be able to move their own appts themselves. I’d like to see a feature or something maybe we can setup in the settings where it caps how many times a client can Resceduele their own appt online or even possibly a pop up in salon Aswell if an appt has been rescheduled say more than x amount of times. At present we have a few clients who are repeatedly rescheduling their own appts and they just keep doing it over and over again and it’s becoming an issue . TIA
