Stop clients being able to keep rescheduling as many times as they want

Businesses should have a choice in settings to allow clients to reschedule once, twice, three times or to keep rescheduling as long as they are outside the cancellation period. At the moment the system is allowing clients to keep rescheduling as many times as they want and their deposit just jerks carrying forward. This is really annoying as they are blocking the calendar

I have a client who does this on nearly a daily basis, and winds me up!!! Constantly rescheduling last minute, and leaving gaps!

Ability to disable the "Client Reschedule" feature - or limit it!

It would be preferable to disable how many times a client can self-reschedule an appointment, or at least have the option to turn this feature off.
Whilst it may appear useful (and it retains your Phorest pay fees by letting a client move their deposit over and over) it is actually pretty counter productive from a salon point of view sometimes as it makes it TOO EASY for a client to simply postpone an appointment without any loss of fees to the next longest point until the next reminder comes through, thus blocking the diary and leaving huge gaps with only short notice.
I appreciate this CAN be a useful feature but for high end treatments and ones that allow for longer time periods it would even be better to DISABLE the reschedule function for certain services such as LHR that are more time interval dependant to guarantee results.
If a client has to go to the effort of actually calling or emailing to ask about changing an appointment for a legitimate reason the barrier to entry is higher and therefore more considered.
Phorest is very big on "minimising no shows" but actually the ability to reschedule willy nilly is just as detrimental to a salon as a no show! If not more so!

my suggestion, set the only deposits to 100 percent for no shows. if they are not showing up for appointments it will flag the account and force a 100% deposit that they will lose for no showing OR moving.

Absolutely critical important feature

Yes. There should be a limit and then they should have to call if they needed to adjust the time/day of the appointment beyond the allowed time by each Salon.
