We've been promised that push notifications for the branded app are in the works for years! It's about time it happened. Reading the comments on here, it looks like a lot of us are fed up with waiting. Come on Phorest, you're amazing at listening to your customers usually. Why are you ignoring this?

It would be great to have push notification options for the app during those quiet times, to remind people to book. Loads of Apps have this feature, but with Phorest there is very little we can do around the App.

Every app on my phone has the ability for notification/announcements. It would be invaluable to be able to let clients know via the app and special things that were happening in the salon. Emails go to junk folders and people ignore text messages.

I think it'd be great to be able to send push notifications to customers who have downloaded our app. Not only does it save us on the cost of a text message, but i can be far more creative visually. Additionally I'd like to be able to create special promotions only available to clients using the app, which in turn will allow me to push exclusive offers to them - a great reason (and incentive) to encourage my clients who don't have the app, to download it and manage their appointments that way!
Saving money and getting more people using the app...a no brainier, right??

I requested this in 2014… yep, you read that correctly - 2014.
Can you give me an exact reason as to why you’ve not developed this functionality for us to take advantage of yet? Perhaps it’s because there’s no money to be made from it and it would have an impact on the SMS revenue you make. Sure, but sometimes it’s nice to give something away too, especially to clients that have been with you for 12+ years…almost as long as Phorest (Memento back in the old days!) have been around!!!
Show us you care and roll this out quick smart, c’mon you know you can 😉

We've all been promised and then shouting about this one for years i'm afraid. We were promised this was coming about 3.5 years ago and still no signs of it.
Phorest Admin can we please get some updates on this! There is another post on this with lots of votes already if they cna be combined!

It looks like Phorest have stopped responding to this request from lots of it's users. Many of us were promised this feature was in the works back in 2022, which is why we bought into the app.
Such a shame.
