Customers can currently provide any telephone number or email address when booking online without having to verify their authenticity. Unfortunately, this means that appointments can also be booked with incorrect or invalid contact details.
I would therefore like to suggest that authentication be integrated into the booking process — e.g. via a confirmation code via email or SMS. This would make it possible to ensure that the specified contact option actually exists and that the customer can be reached.
This would improve the quality of bookings and reduce missed appointments.
