Allow us to chose how many days/weeks/months in advance bookings can be made.
At the moment the clients can book in anytime in advance and this makes it difficult to schedule holidays when they are requesting certain staff members.

Hi, thank you all for your feedback and suggestions around limiting advanced online bookings.
We are pleased to announce that this setting now exists under "Manager > Settings > Online > Booking Rules" where you can change the "Limit availability in the future" setting to Yes and configure a time-frame to suit your needs.

We only allow online booking up to two months in advance but Phorest currently does not have that function. We would love to have this added so we do not have to closely monitor our online bookings!

I think it would be helpful to have a cut off for when clients are able to book in the year. we don't like to book the following year too early, but right now we can't stop people from booking online into 2024.

I would like to be able to close our books online. Like only open them for the current month for example.

- Make Online Booking so a guest can only book a request and WE HAVE TO APPROVE IT BEFORE IT IS A CONFIRMED that the guest can take it. Because people are booking themselves in bad times where we lose valuable time cause there are wasted gaps of time.
- Make online booking able to be open or closed for each staff member.
- Make online book able to only be open for adjustable amounts of time (eg: 3 months or 6 months) not indefinitely.

Change online booking in advance to weekly increments. This is basic and the Phorest work around is an absolute joke.
We need to be able to see staff holidays and roster in advance without clients being able to book the whole year.
How does every other software have the capability and it is still lacking with it first mentioned in 2017!
Software that has been around since 1995 has this capability.

Salons want to set and forget their rosters far into the future, but be comfortable that they can restrict bookings only for the next month for example.
This gives them a large buffer to be able to fine tune their rosters.
Now the issue is that if the salons want to do their rosters for a longer period, eg. default 9-17 Monday to Friday for the rest of the year they are open for bookings around holidays periods.
If they don't want to take online bookings far into the future they need to do rosters one month at a time.
This is widely requested feature in Finland where salons are required by their customers to offer online bookings and don't have the option to turn them off. Other markets can leave online bookings off due to fear of loss of control, and this is one thing that would help give them confidence to turn OB on.

Phorest Product - Can Phorest please give some form of update on this feature request. It seems ridiculous that it was first requested six years ago and there seems to have been no progress.

Can somebody from Phorest please explain if some form of setting within online bookings is being considered to only allow bookings for a specified number of months in advance. Thank you
