Be able connect families so when booking online say under the mom, she can pick her children that shes booking the appointments for. So tired of online bookings under a parent and then we have to cancel it and put it under the correct name.
I even tried to have the same email address on the entire family and still doesn’t work. Bummer

Client should be able to book with the same provider, for different time slots. We have many Families, Adult and Kids, that normally have their hair done in the same day and prefers certain staff, it would be great if they could do that without any hassle.

We are finding that Phorest does not allow for one email address to be used for multiple people. This presents a major issue especially when it comes to the families we see when parents not only book appointments for themselves but also their children. It does not seem to give the option to attach one email to more than one person, so the appointment is then made for the wrong person. This is a logistical nightmare for the front desk. Creating a new email for each person, let alone a child, is not realistic. Is there a solution for this?

Online Booking profiles are getting mixed up because the wrong client name is being booked.
When two clients are linked with a mobile number, when the linked client goes to book online the main client (the client with the mobile number on their profile) is booked in.
For example mother Mary's mobile is linked to daughter Rebecca. When Rebecca goes to book online, even though her online booking account has her own name it is linked to the profile of Mary through the linked number. This then leads to confusion in the diary as it looks like Mary is booked in when it is actually Rebecca.

Hey, when my clients try to book two kids haircuts in for the dame day it doesn't allow them . A lot of my clients have more then one child so i was wanting to make a suggestion to possibly change this. Thank you.

Tweak to the online bookings for linked clients

When a client books and has the same email address as their son/daughter/family member the system does not tell them or let them pick their name or the person they want to book in for... the system just allows them to book (thinking its their name) then sends them a conformation that has not use their name but their family member with the same linked email.
This results in clients emailing the salon saying they have been booked under the incorrect name and as they have paid a deposit means we (our salon) cannot change the booking over to the correct client without refunding the deposit as it wont allow the deposit to be switched over.
Clients with young children are not going to use different emails for their kids as it is the parent who needs to know the booking and reminder.
I would like to suggest that a drop down of the linked client names with the same email address could be shown at time of booking so the client could pick their own name or the name of their child/ family member they want to book for.
Also when a client books online and wants to book for a family member to come in at the same time with a different stylist, it simply shows on the system as 'person 2' this needs to changed to have the second persons contact details.

I own a barbershop. Some clients have multiple children. It would be so much easier if they could add each of thier kids to the same account instead of using one name for everyone.

Clients book online thorugh their account but it's actually for a partner or family member. We would like there to be a clear pathway from a client online account if they wish to book for someone else and it's not a group booking as this causes a lot of hassle with account renaming and payment faffing

Our last system had this function, and it was fantastic! This is the main complaint from our guests about Phorest. I really don't know why this hasn't been addressed yet, it's such a vital function for the majority of our guests.
