Most platforms require an email or phone number authentication before creating an account to avoid scams and fake profiles. Phorest lacks this security and it is costing salon owners money.
I suggest ensuring new clients get sent an authentication code to their email or mobile so we can verify it is not fake.

Derzeit können Kunden bei der Onlinebuchung beliebige Telefonnummern oder E-Mail-Adressen angeben, ohne dass diese auf Echtheit überprüft werden. Das führt leider dazu, dass Termine auch mit falschen oder ungültigen Kontaktdaten gebucht werden können.
Ich möchte daher den Vorschlag einbringen, eine Echtheitsprüfung in den Buchungsprozess zu integrieren – z. B. über einen Bestätigungscode per E-Mail oder SMS. So ließe sich sicherstellen, dass die angegebene Kontaktmöglichkeit tatsächlich existiert und der Kunde erreichbar ist.
Dies würde die Qualität der Buchungen verbessern und Termin-Ausfälle reduzieren.

Client's email and/or phone number should be validated before being able to create an appointment. We had too many incident where people create a fake booking with NO valid contact information.

Totally agreed with this feedback, nowadays this should be a basic function. This is the only one way to avoid fake users or banned clients who are recreating fake accounts just to rebook again appointments. Finally competitors could also book fake appointments without any system protection.

This is set up in your settings for online bookings. We require an email and a phone number as well as 100% deposit on new clients and 50% on current clients. What we cant do is require their snail mail address which is REALLY needed online.
