Cancellations, Rebooking and Enforcing Policy

I would really love if we could add a feature where clients can cancel and rebook appointments THEMSELVES! Much like how easy it is to book online, they can view their bookings,
Make functions where phorest adapts and actions the policy of the salon (say 48/72 hours) and the client must cancel/reschedule themselves and the system displays to them that will be charged X amount or deposit forfeited automatically with the details they provided.
Basically, the same action buttons we see on our side, but for the client to do and see themselves. Takes the emotion out of this for businesses and salon owners so we don’t have to go back and forth with clients.
AKA, if a client contacts requested to do any of the mentioned, we can then refer them a link to do so much like we currently do for them to book.
I beg of you, in this day and age, I cannot take it anymore dealing with people thinking they are above policy and ruining our days!

This is the absolute best idea ever! This is literally $50,000 idea! We are interviewing candidates right now for a call center pretty much to deal with this exact thing. I and my managers/receptionist are so sick and tired of having to fight with guests every day over this. The clients are abusive and rude and we end up caving on policy because we just don’t have the fight in us anymore. I feel like all bookings cancels, rescheduling, etc. should finalized with a sms link. Credit card authorization, deposits, etc. and no shows should just be charged automatically because the client would have signed off on the charge when they completed the booking with the link. Again, takes the emotion off the table. It’s time salons start running their businesses like a business. If we had these abilities I wouldn’t have to spend $50,000 on a salary for a call center employee!
