Confirmation Of Deposit Loss When Client Cancelling

Cancelling Online Bookings - DISCLAIMER!
Before a client cancels an appointment entirely, can they be presented with a pop up box stating very clearly:
"ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CANCEL? BY CANCELLING YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL LOSE THE DEPOSIT PAYMENT"
If they click "Yes" then at least they can't say they weren't aware that they'd lose the £1.50 if they did cancel.
Time and time again this comes up and I'm bored of explaining this to my clients.
Please Phorest - help us manage this better...

Yes and also the email that the client received makes out that the salon in question are the bad guys …if I’m not mistaken the subject line is Oops “salon name” has charged you!
Of course we have, but we need reinforcement of the fact they will be charged by the client having to tick a box agreeing they understand all cancellation policies…this needs to be standardised before allowing them proceed to making any booking

When a client has booked online but cancels outside your notice period instead of charging as a no show it needs a different category. Maybe “cancellation fee” or something. I have so many clients co tact me saying I cancelled I didn’t not show up. It’s frustrating.

I’d love it that you have the option for a client to cancel their own appointment even on the day and the system automatically tells them that they will get charged as per the t&c’s then get them to agree to it and the system automatically charged their card. If they do not agree to it then the appointment will not be cancelled. It’s hard to get staff to adhere to the cancellation policy’s as they don’t like having awkward conversations. The same could be set up for rescheduling appointments within the t&c’s.

Yes I think it should be automatic, because otherwise some staff doesn't feel confident in charging. So make it Automatic.

das ist eine gute Idee, ich würde es dann aber auch für die Stornierung über die Buchungsseite, nicht nur App haben wollen

love this idea. can we also fix up the t&c they have to agree to as i have had clients do this then then put a clam into their bank saying card scam and the bank gives back their money, even know they have agreed to the T&C. i feel like this is happing more and more and its not right
