Avoiding fake bookings and therefore avoiding losing money

Most platforms require an email or phone number authentication before creating an account to avoid scams and fake profiles. Phorest lacks this security and it is costing salon owners money.
I suggest ensuring new clients get sent an authentication code to their email or mobile so we can verify it is not fake.

I know this is taking a different route but taking a deposit online & in salon helps stop fake appointments also. If they don't cancel within 24 hours (you choose time period) prior to appointment you at least get some money to cover appointment or if declared when booking that full service cost will be taken you cover the full time. I understand this might not be an option you want to go down. 😊
