Allow Custom URL for “Online Store” Button in Branded App

For salons using the branded app, the “Online Store” button should allow a fully customisable URL rather than being fixed to the Phorest online store.
At present, the app is marketed and sold as a fully branded, custom solution. However, this limitation significantly reduces flexibility and makes the app feel like a white-labelled version of the standard Phorest platform rather than a truly bespoke experience.
From a technical perspective, this appears to be a simple backend configuration — the button is effectively a hyperlink directing users externally. Allowing salons to define this URL would not require structural changes to the app and should not necessitate App Store resubmission.
Why this matters:
* Many salons have alternative e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, etc.)
* Some want to direct clients to specific landing pages, promotions, or seasonal campaigns
* It allows better brand control and a more seamless customer journey
* It increases the value of the branded app as a premium product
Suggested solution:
Add a field in the Phorest backend (e.g. under app settings) where businesses can set a custom URL for the “Online Store” button and also a custom link option or integration with more providers such as WIX for each retail product to enable us to recommend clients using product recommendations where Phorest still make money from the SMS but salons can retail via a better branded website
This would be a simple but high-impact improvement that aligns the product with expectations of a “custom branded app” and provides salons with meaningful control over their client experience.
