15 min added to online booking for new clients

We would love to see the option to have new clients that book online.. that an extra 15 minuets added to their service. As a new client we do not know what their hair is like and that extra 1 min. allows our stylists more time for a consultation as well as incase the client has thick or longer hair.

When a new client books online, we build in consultation time. They are still able to book a haircut without consultation time. How can this be avoided?

I’m set at 30 minutes. I just wish I had an additional 15 minutes for every new client seen.

We have a category for new clients, and have extra time allocated for those services. eg 45min facial with consultation blocks out 75mins to allow for pre & post treatment consult and 60 min facial with consultation blocks out 90 mins. You just need to set the different times for the on-line description.

We have created a 1st Apt for ... "the service"... for the services where we like the 1st time new clients to have a consultation-longer session too for that reason and it works pretty well without adding an extra category.

We have a service category for consultations and will add a consultation appointment for all new customers. We receive an email notification to the Front of House for all new online bookings and each one is checked as they come through. This enables us to ensure that consultations and skins tests are completed. We just need to get this service category eliminated from affecting the stylist performance, such as average bill, as these services are £0. Hope this helps.
