A coupon system where a discount coupon can be generated to give % or amount in discount. 
The discount code can be brought to the salon upon the visit OR be applied directly on client side when an online booking is made.
The coupon can be limited by how many times it can be used: Per coupon and/or Per client.
Perfect to use for all type of marketing, in newspaper, magazines, social media etc. The statistic system for the discount coupons make it very easy to track what kind of marketing that gives the best ROI.

This is a really obvious marketing feature that should exist. It was a really successful feature in our previous system (Shortcuts).

Any update on the progress of this feature? We really need discount codes, as well as automatic referral codes that are linked to each client. Word of mouth marketing is typically the best and most common method for beauty businesses and we need the functions to support this. Each client can be allocated with their own code (can be generated as a QR code as suggested below) that they can give to their friends and acquaintances - the friend scans the code or uses the discount code when making their booking and the system recognises that this code belongs to X client and then the reward is issued. This feature can then also be used for affiliates and influencers, as well as cross promotions with other businesses and networking.

I would really love it if we could generate a discount code for specific clients as a referral program. For example, Client A has a discount code and they give their code to Client B. Client B uses the discount code, which is linked to Client A as the referrer and Client A automatically gets the referral reward. This can open the doors to ambassador programs also.

i think we should be able to offer clients promo codes when having a sale etc so they can apply online or in salon.

QR code system integrated into Phorest marketing tools would definitely help salons generate more revenue particularly when business is quiet we could tempt clients in by offering a discount or money off certain services. QR codes can be used as a birthday gift to loyal clients, token of appreciation for certain professionals (frontline workers), and so on. This integrated feature will definitely make the marketing tool more powerful and Phorest software stand out from its competitors.

This is such a simple yet SUPER effective feature that we could use in our salon. Codes which we can create in the backend and supply to customers to redeem at checkout for promotions, exclusive deals etc as others have outlined below.

How this is not a standard feature on such an elaborate system is absolutely mind boggling. Considering people have beed requesting this for 9 years and it still hasn't been added is really disappointing. Especially when other bookings systems have it as a feature and even the cheaper systems and one I Switched to Phorest from had it.
