We use PHOREST as our primary ordering system, but it would be incredibly valuable if VISH and PHOREST communicated with each other so inventory stayed accurate.

Right now, VISH tracks exactly what products are dispensed during each service, but that usage doesn’t automatically update inventory in PHOREST. As a result, we’re still manually adjusting inventory in PHOREST every time products are used, empty tubes are discarded, or products are otherwise removed from stock. We then have to manually reconcile inventory between two systems, which is time-consuming and leaves room for error.

When it’s time to place an order, we’re still manually scanning the shelves and estimating what we need because PHOREST’s inventory doesn’t reflect the actual product usage recorded in VISH.

If product usage recorded in VISH automatically updated inventory levels in PHOREST, inventory would remain accurate without duplicate data entry. PHOREST could then generate much more reliable reorder suggestions based on actual usage, saving time, reducing ordering errors, and eliminating the need to maintain two separate inventories.

VISH already knows what has been dispensed, and PHOREST already manages inventory and purchasing. Connecting the two systems would create one accurate inventory and make the entire ordering process far more efficient.
