Our old systems waitlist allowed us to have the option for clients to be notified when an apt became available and they were able to book into our schedules without our front desk (that we don't have every day) contacting them. It also allowed them to add themselves from our booking page if they couldn't find an apt in the time they wanted. This allowed for openings to get filled immediately and less gaps. It also needs to take someone off the waitlist once the desired time/date has passed.
