Waitlist Upgrade Needed

Our old systems waitlist allowed us to have the option for clients to be notified when an apt became available and they were able to book into our schedules without our front desk (that we don't have every day) contacting them. It also allowed them to add themselves from our booking page if they couldn't find an apt in the time they wanted. This allowed for openings to get filled immediately and less gaps. It also needs to take someone off the waitlist once the desired time/date has passed.

It would be so helpful if we could book directly off a client appt card and even off of the wait list. Booking off the waitlist might work well because at that point they would just be removed from the list.

The waitlist needs to include a proper notification feature. When a stylist has a cancellation, it should either alert the waitlisted client to book in or notify the stylist to reach out. Right now, the list is too hidden and easy to overlook.

The new waitlist is completely unusable - I have advised Phorest many times since we viewed the new screen in Sept 2024 - All we need is a very simple list of clients names on a list that we can view from the front appointment screen. It cannot be hidden and we do not want it as an intuitive list either - we need to be able to control it ourselves and decide who we want to put in which appt slot - thanks Rachel :LadyG

The new updated waiting ls awful, we keep getting clients popping onto the screen , when we haven't put them there & they may have been put on waiting list weeks before , this year is the first time i have considered leaving Phorest after 16 years to try another company , why change things like this when the origianal worked just fine, this and many other aspects of this new version are not working for me & my Salon.

Would like to have the Waiting List permanently visible as whole column (as per the old version of Phorest) so much easier to be able to book waiting clients and avoid double booking when you don't realise a waiting list client has booked on line without you knowing. Enables you to see how many clients are waiting in one go and if you want to roster overtime hours for staff.

There should be a notification that pops up that there is a client on the waitlist when an opening comes up and there should be a way to view the waitlist from App

We need to pick certain times, not just morning/afternoon. eg between 2pm-4pm. If waiting list appointment is not fulfilled it should then dissappear, not stay on until it is deleted. We could then do a report on lost sales for that particular day and time and ensure we have more staff on for those times in future.
