WAITLIST IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED

- A notification when someone is added to waitlist. 2. A pop-up notification when appointment time becomes available. 3. When adding guest to waitlist, being able to add from their service to history. Right now we have to build their appointment from scratch instead of having a feature to "add to waitlist" next to "rebook" in client history.

Waitlist is a disaster! And because it’s hidden I always forget about it! I had a therapist named as cancellation list and popped ppl in but then they started getting messages to say they had appointments 🤦🏻♀️ so we had to revert to waitlist which pops ppl in anywhere and is do annoying!! Would love if clients could join waitlist themselves.

This has been a constant problem. I know i have voted and commented in numerous posts. We have been told with a very long time its being worked on with no result. It really seems to be an issue with how the packages are constructed that does not translate everywhere. I would have no problem setting these up again. It needs to be done properly so the filter option can also be used correctly. at the moment we are back to pen and paper which i think should never have to be used if a system is good enough.

It is the only feature of Phorest I do not utilize unforunately, loved it with a previous software provider.

Also it would be good if a client can add themselves onto the waiting list when looking online via the booking app

These suggestions would be amazing!!! It would also be helpful if someone is taking an appointment but really has a specific date in mind that you could at that point add to waitlist for service that was just booked right at that point instead of having to change screens

Stephanie Parrishi I did something a little radical, I created an employee named cancellation list. Clients have been booking themselves with this “employee“ or I put them on the cancellation list and let them know that this is not an appointment. It is indeed a spot on a cancellation list for a specific service and then we write the service that they’re waiting for in the current appointment notes. It’s a little bit confusing, but it definitely ensures that they have a spot and it is top of mind. Your staff might not be very happy about it at first. 😳❤
