Update Roster for Front Desk

Have a check box or toggle for the roster so that if the person is front desk or not service provider we can add them to the roster but they won't be available for clients. We have trainees/apprentices/assistants who are working the front desk and on the floor and we need to be able to split their shifts for on the floor versus not taking clients without having to add them as 2 different team members (Suzie Front Desk or Suzie Stylist). We currently have to use Homebase to track their schedule. We need to do split shifts of on the floor and vacation, training, out sick, etc.

Why do you put them on the roster? It’s not necessary for them to be on the roster when they aren’t taking clients. We have an esthetician that’s also a receptionist. She’s only in the roster for her Esthetician hours, and just clocks in for receptionist hours.

Evangelene Brown because we have multiple front desk team members and would like to manage their schedules in one place. Currently we have to use a separate app for their schedule when we could very easily manage it in Phorest if it was available.

We only put them on the roster when they will be taking clients. The system allows them to clock in regardless of whether they are on the roster or not, so you can just put them on the roster for the hours they will work with clients. All hours will show up in payroll.

We just add them and take them off line so they don’t show up the app or online portal - it’s easy 😅

Yes!! We also have service providers that work in both salon and spa and it is difficult as well, we currently have to set up two separate providers as well.

So needed! This is a payroll nightmare, and the duplicate profiles create so much extra work.
