If we cancel an appointment we can not see it in the transcription. We had a sick staff member and somebody put out the appointment without calling the client. We wanted to see, who was it? It would be a great help if we could see booked and canceled appointments in the transcription. We can find it if we book the appointment again and look in the history. But this is not always a good way.

This needs some serious attention from Phorest. Deleting an appointment should not even be an option, only canceling , w a history tracking ability. And breaks needs a bettter tracking system also !

Tina ~: the delete option is to allow corrections for genuine mistakes made when creating an appointment. You can remove this ability from staff by unchecking the "Delete Appointment" permission within access levels.
The audit/trail (with the exception of the bug Michael mentions here) and deleted appointments report can also be used to check if someone is using the functionality maliciously.
