Text message with link to take Deposits

With the Christmas season coming it would be amazing if we can send a link via text message to take a deposit for bookings.

I've said on a previous post, this also needs an auto cancel after so long if deposit is not paid, so that clients can be booked in, but the system looks after the next steps of taking a deposit in time, and if not cancelling and alerting client of this, and management. then a new link to rebook online and pay deposit etc.
current issue is that staff book clients in with a promise of a deposit later or drop in or when they stop driving.... then it is forgotten about and not checked again, client no show's and no deposit was ever taken! a deposit link and auto cancel if not would solve this.

We have been requesting this for almost 3 years and nothing has been done. Keep dragging us on with “we’re working on it”. It’s getting very frustrating beyond a joke.

Wendy Guppy Definitely. I think its more important that any of the little bits and pieces they are working on and they are going to lose business if they don’t get onto it.
Silly that we can’t escalate it further than these threads 😔

Totally agree- this is a must have for small business.. clients dont understand the impact it has when the don’t show up.

Agreed! We’ve had a few new guests book with our new assistant who's forgot to take the credit card details (then don’t show up or cancel last min and refuse to pay the fee) . We also have guests that don’t want to give numbers to a human on the other end for safety issues and have lost money and appointment bookings because of that.
