Non refundable deposit option.

We would really value the option to take non-refundable booking deposits within Phorest.
As we begin to offer higher-ticket services, we’ve noticed an increasing issue with clients cancelling within the 48-hour window. While this is within policy, it often leaves large gaps in the diary that are very difficult, if not impossible; to refill at short notice.
This doesn’t just impact revenue, but also creates significant disruption to business operations and team schedules. Going from being fully booked to having multiple empty appointments in a day can be incredibly challenging to manage.
A non-refundable deposit option would help encourage commitment to appointments, protect clinic time, and create more stability for businesses offering premium services.
It would be a really valuable addition for clinics trying to grow sustainably while maintaining a high level of service.

I would love this feature, totally agree with all concerns mentioned.

I thought if you put the hours as "0" that it would then be non-refundable. We took a deposit over the phone by a repeat offender that noshowed too often, only to have phorest pay REFUND her automatically when she canceled. Phorest Admin how is this acceptable?

certainly once paid the deposit stays if they cancel just before the 48hrs as i agree does not give time to rebook the slot.

This could be very valuable, especially with repeat offenders of no-call, no-show clients. Even with some custom type appointment, ie: fashion colors if you dont normally carry them etc.

This would be so valuable to salons and give the option like hotels do have a cheaper non refundable or moveable appointment. So pleased you addressed this
