If a creative finish's at a certain time e.g 6 pm. then it would really be helpful if the system would have a cut off time for certain colour appointments. this will help us avoid having to constantly reschedule clients.

Hi Shardae Green,
Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback. The appointmetn screen shouldn't allow clients to book appointments through online booking that go beyond the staff members rostered hours. Is that what is happening for you at the moment?

Phorest Product. What I mean is if a client books a car at say 230 but they’re finishes going to be at 5:30 then they shouldn’t be able to book that appointment because then we have to contact the client and get them to reschedule because the creative is not prepared to stay after they finish time

Shardae Green: thank you for your reply. At the moment so long as a finishing service is added to the appointment the online booking will ensure that the appointment, including processing time ends before the staff member finishes for the day. Am I correct in thinking that currently you book only the colour service on the appointment screen?

Phorest Product I am afraid it does not good example , today cat has a tinit booked in at 5:30 yet she supposed to finish at 6 and the clients finish is at 7 pm. and cat is not willing to sty another hour when she is supposed to finish at 6. so i now have to call the client and tell them they cannot have their appointment. which looks bad on us

Shardae Green Isn't that a setting under Services (choose the service) | Advanced | Shut Down Time ?
So for us, we take a color service that normally takes 30 minute application, 30 minute process, and 30 minute finish and set the Shutdown Time as 90 minutes. It won't allow that service to be booked if there is less than 90 minutes left in the day. I know it works for the online booking. I would have to test it for the desktop. There are ways they can get around it, but it might help cut down the problem a bit.
Of course, that is a general setting. The individual technician's setting should also apply based on their schedule and individual timings.
