It would be fantastic if clients could opt to put themselves on a waitlist when booking online-for general availability and for specific service providers. The desktop waiting list also needs updates so we can select a range of availability instead of just a specific date and time.

We are currently working on a new and improved waiting list that provides much more flexibility as well as being available online.
We will be working on this for the rest of the year and will be publishing updates as we go.

- Add a client search in waiting list screen
- On a client's profile, indicate that they are on the waiting list
- Allow clients to be on multiple stylists/service providers waiting list OR choose a service provider level in general
- Select a date range and not just manually select each day as well as better time ranges (example 12 PM onwards, or first appointment of the day, etc)
- When adding waiting list clients to schedule, confirm searching for more clients before adding someone else after clicking 'Do Not Book'
- Have the option to send emails (toggle it on or off) that an appointment is available and they can book it
- Make it easier to view current appointment and past appointments instead of having to go to the client card through the waiting list

We love the new waitlist feature but unfortunately when we're going to select certain dates it doesn't show the done button under the calendar on the screen. We also would love to see this feature available online and have an "End Date"

Yes! There is very little value in a waitlist that is 0% automated.

For this evolution, are you working on the possibility for online bookings, that if a client doesn't see the date/time they want, they can join a waiting list for that date/time. If another client cancels, they automatically get the slot (in case of out of staff hours) and receive a text to accept or deny the appointment. Then if it was deny, the next customer waiting (in time of submission order) would then have the same process and so on...
Preventing staff manual intervention would be preferred due to time available to manage emails and such requests.
Agree with customers being on waitlist for spans of time rather than having to manually enter them on each day.

look at Salon Iris! You can add all information, name, desired date, service and tech. When anyone cancels the wait list automatically pops up. We still need to use a paper list

It would be hugely helpful if a client could be put on the waitlist for spans of time and not just one specific appointment slot on one specific day.
For example if someone wants to pre-book two months out but can only do Saturdays and Weekdays after 4pm, it would be nice to be able to mark them as on the waitlist starting March 5th, and then have each day of the week listed with a checkbox, and then a drop box trigger from each checked day that lets you then select their hours of availability.
As it is now, I have a client that is on the waitlist for an upcoming Saturday. She's available all day. So I have her on the list for every 15 minute block the whole day down day. Very time consuming to do and visually busy on the screen.
