Great news, but is the only way for it to automatically send to clients is with Phorest AI? Because it's going to be a very admin heavy task to go through every single appointment that wasn't booked online to request a deposit

Good news, this is now possible! You can send a Payment Link by SMS and/or email to take a deposit or securely capture card details. You can also add an expiry and auto-cancel the appointment if the link isn't paid in time. Tomás de Vasconcellos It is very helpful to have this feature but it is still limited. It would be useful if we could send a payment link for clients purchasing products etc or if clients have a treatment that is on account to be able to send a payment request for those amounts.

I can't share a timeline yet (I'd rather not promise a date and get it wrong), but it's genuinely in development, not just sitting on a list. I'll post here an update when the feature is on! Im sure this has been brought up before but we need the option to email a client a payment link for deposits.
Clients don't always have the physical card on them or feel unsafe saying card numbers over the phone. The ability to send a deposit link would also mitigate staff forgetting or having to chase up clients who haven't paid. :)

We have been told since we started with phorest that this is coming and we still haven't seen it. For what we pay on phorest for reminders I still need to constantly follow up with clients to manually pay their booking fee. This is a big issue in our business at the moment with clients wanting a link to be sent for ease.

It would be good to have every client pay a deposit, whether that be booking online or adding them in over the phone. One of the team uses another booking app for their other business and every single client that they enter into the diary gets an automatic email straight away that asks them to confirm the appointment and enter their bank details to pay a deposit. This would be great to have and save a lot of upset with no shows and late cancellations as some people refuse to pay, and we don't have everyone's card details, but we would if you had this feature.

yes please we have been waiting for this feature for over 12 months. I thought by last Xmas it was close to launching but haven't had any updates since. It is desperately needed.
