Customizing Automated Booking Messages

When guests receive the "Your appointment is confirmed" text message closely after booking, they get confused and think their reservation has been confirmed and then they ignore the next confirmation messages. We require confirmation at our salon to guarantee the service, and if I could edit the automated messages it would save us & our guests quite a bit of headache!

Due to the necessity of verifying online bookings to ensure they are made for the appropriate services, time, and with the best-suited team member, we currently allow new guests to submit only a booking request online - we have set up a service called online booking request. We then personally reach out to confirm the details before finalising the appointment. However, the current messaging system sends a confirmation message to the guest as soon as they make any online appointment, which can lead to confusion. It is essential that we have the ability to customise all communications sent to guests, so we can accurately reflect the status of their booking and manage their expectations effectively. This will help streamline our booking process and enhance guest satisfaction.

Welcome Email Outdated

His team the current welcome email is outdated with no ability to test or preview and very limited layout options. Also only able to hyperlink using pre set fields and the only social media one is Facebook. I would like to be able to fully customised this email and test it.

If you login at my.phorest.com with the same email and password that you use for PhorestGo you will be able to edit the confirmation SMS text in the marketing section.
