Change appointment in package

When a package is scheduled for a base color and haircut, if the guest want to change it to a blowdry it doesn't allow the option to change it to blowdry without having to delete the full apointment

Hi guys, glad you're working on this hope you can make this work!
Hair salon: We really need packages to be able to be simply edited just like an individual service can be. Clients book online but can get the service wrong, or after consultation we need to change the service/upsell. moving the deposit and cancelling the whole appointment to then rebook it is too complicated in those busy salon moments.
We need packages for online bookings to group our more complex colour services, clients are forgetting to book their glazes or toners and Olaplex which means we are short of time by 45minutes on appointment day.
For Olaplex it would be great to have a slider yes/no option that appears when booking all colours (right now they have no choice but to book Olaplex it if we put it in the package)
I suppose this means that the individual services within the category will still need to appear on the service page as well as the packages otherwise you would have nothing to swap your service for...

The 2nd option! Right now we have part a,b,c
A - color svc
B - cut or blow dry
C - add on treatment or only consult time
Currently, if they want to change the type of color service at the appt or if they booked wrong it’s very difficult because we have to delete and refund the deposit and then rebook the appt entirely, which messes up the deposit and payments. It would be so much easier if they had a retouch, a haircut, and an add on mask if we could change the retouch to something else without having to delete or mess with the other components and also
to have the deposit they paid automatically transfer to the new service.

Hi folks,
Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback and comments. When changing a package how would you expect it to work?
For example:
- The package gets removed and the updated service is added
- Only the selected service is changed and the other package services remain at the same price as the package price
- The selected service is changed and the remaining package services are converted into normal services with the default pricing

Phorest Product- For us the pricing is no different whether it's in a package or not, the purpose of our package would be to avoid clients forgetting to book all the services needed for that colour appointment, in this case it would be option 2 that you have suggested.
If people have different prices for services within packages I would want the swapped out service to reflect the 'package price' if it is discounted.

Phorest Product- the main issue we have is the deposit problem. If we just had to cancel the original booking and rebook a new one with the deposits staying attached to the client that wouldn't be so bad, but the deposit transfer onto client card is where we will find mistakes happening all the time. Ideally the package would be edited with the deposit remaining on their appointment regardless of booked directly or online...

At present we have to zero price the service not taken in the packag and then add the correct service

There should be an option to “alter” service rather than delete entirely and then re-do with new service.
Ps. Even having an option to notate this client was “upsold” on a service and possibly adding that to a reports category to reward staff for upselling.
Typically when we change services from original booking is because:
1. It is an upsell
or
- Client changed mind
