Currently if we grant access on desktop version of phorest to view an appointment details all our team with this access can amend and create appointments also. This is not good as our reception and booking team take care of the appointment schedule and our therapists should not be able to do this.
The option is available on Phorest Go to restrict this ability to amend or create appointments so this should clearly be available on desktop also as Phorest Go is not suitable for quick access and overviews of clent files and our clinics use laptops for all our general staff with phorest go just used for consultations and photos when required. We need access to View Appointment details to access notes and settings etc for that appointment so not having this is not an option

**I just wanted to investigate the appointment creation access before coming back to you in it, staff with "View appointment details" access can both view AND create appointments. There's no way to grant viewing without also allowing creation on desktop, my apologies.
If you need staff to only view appointments without creating them, the current workaround is to use PhorestGo instead, where these permissions can be separated, as we discussed on call also.
It is however noted and I believe this is a good idea for potential implementation.
