Reuse gift cards
I have a stack of gift cards that cannot be recycled to use again with a different client due to your system lacking this!
I had to purchase another 200 gift cards in less than a year, this is a waste we should be able to reuse if the client gives the gift card back due to them moving or not being a spa going person, or any other reason. I live in a military town so we have a lot of clients who move every year.

Is there a way to be able to reuse gift cards once they have been used but for a different client (not just reloading for the same person)? When people use up a gift card they leave it with us and we would like to be able to reuse them for future use but when we go to scan them to use it says that the number is unavailable and when we go to archive used gift card it does not work. Just wondering if there is anyway to fix this so that we can reuse the cards we have.

our old software that we just switched from let us re use gift cards instead of "topping them off". for example: once the gift card had a balance of $0 , that barcode/number would be able to be re used.
we currently have to order more gift cards because of this now

We used salon iris/ daysmart for 15 years and this feature was something that has highly considered to not making the switch to Phorest. Please allow Gift Cards to be reusable. It is so much more cost effective to recycle plastic gift card numbers and keep a history of the number of who purchased and redeemed.
